UVI Great Hall St. Croix
December 7-9, 2007
 

Dining room tables, spoons, pens, sculptures, carvings and much more – all made by hand using wood – will be on display at the second annual Virgin Islands Woodworkers Expo, to be held December 7-9, 2007 at the UVI Great Hall on St. Croix. Some of the finest woodworkers in the territory will display and sell their pieces. Demonstrations will be conducted by master woodworkers, including Avelino Samuel of St. John, Afreekan Southwell of St. Thomas, and Bien Brignoni of St. Croix.

The Expo opens at 1:00 p.m. on December 7th and 10:00 a.m. on December 8th & 9th. There will be a special showing for junior and senior high school carpentry, woodworking and art vocational classes at 10:00 a.m. on December 7th. You won't want to miss this one-of-a-kind event. Make plans to be there and get your holiday gifts early!

Admission to all sessions is FREE!
